Notice is hereby given that from the date specified below, Colchester Borough Council acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 1st July 2022 proposes to make the following order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, a temporary waiting and loading restriction in the lengths of road and during the date and times specified below. The restriction is required due to the likelihood of danger to the public.

No Waiting and No Loading from 6.00am to 7.00pm on Wednesday 24 August, Thursday 25 August and on Friday 26 August 2022. Lengths of road at Clacton-on-Sea:

Description


Tower Road, Clacton
NORTH-EAST SIDE: From its junction with Marine Parade  West to the north western boundary of no.42 Tower Road, a distance of approximately 150 metres.

Wash Lane
BOTH SIDES: From its junction with West Road to its junction with Freeland Road, a distance of approximately 275 metres.

Hastings Avenue
EAST SIDE: From its junction with West Road for a distance of 100 metres.
SOUTH-EAST SIDE: From a point opposite the boundary between nos. 69/71 Hastings Avenue for a distance of
55 metres in a south westerly direction.
BOTH SIDES: From the boundary between nos. 11/15 Hastings Avenue for a distance of 70 metres in a generally westerly direction.

Selsey Avenue
BOTH SIDES: From its junction with Hastings Avenue for a distance of 25 metres in a southerly direction.

Link Road
BOTH SIDES: From its junction with Alton Park Road south east for 15 metres.

Arnold Road
BOTH SIDES: From its junction with Leas Road south east for 20 metres.

BOTH SIDES: From its junction with Cherry Tree Avenue east for 25 metres.

Prince Philip Avenue
BOTH SIDES: From its junction with Cherry Tree Avenue east for 35 metres.

Vista Road
From its northern junction with Skelmersdale Road both sides for 10 metres.

Vista Road
SOUTH SIDE: From a point opposite the boundary line of 84/86 north west for 30 metres. Recreation From its junction with Vista Road both sides southwest for Road 10 metres.

Valence Way
BOTH SIDES: From its junction with Vista Road northeast for 10 metres.

Alton Park Road
EAST SIDE: From a point opposite the boundary of numbers 52/54 Alton Park Road to a point opposite the boundary of numbers 60/62 Alton Park Road, a distance of approximately 39 metres.

Anchor Road
BOTH SIDES: From its junction with Alton Park Road to a point 3 metres west of the boundary of numbers 80/82
Anchor Road for a distance of approximately 18 metres.

Park Road
BOTH SIDES: From junction with Anchor Road to a point level with the boundary wall of number 48 Park Road.

Deal Close
BOTH SIDES: South west from the junction with Hastings Avenue to the junction with Little Stone Court.

Weymouth Close
BOTH SIDES: North east from the junction with Hastings Avenue to a point level with the north east facing boundary
wall of number 31 Weymouth Close.

NORTH SIDE: from a point 15 metres west of its junction with Cherry Tree Avenue to a point 15 metres east of the same junction.

Collingwood Road
BOTH SIDES: Approximately 16.5 metres from the junction with Marine Parade East for a distance of approximately 75.0 metres.

St Vincent Road
BOTH SIDES Approximately 15.5 metres from the junction with Marine Parade east for a distance of approximately 147.0 metres.

Trafalgar Road
BOTH SIDES: Approximately 17.5 metres from the junction with Marine Parade East for a distance of approximately 149.0 metres.

Any existing Stopping, Waiting and parking restrictions relating to the above lengths of road contained in The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Consolidation) Order 2019 will be temporarily suspended for the duration of the above restrictions.

(Tendring District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No.29) Order 202*

Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends to make the above Order under sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1),45, 46, 49, 53 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), and Schedule 1 of The Traffic Orders Procedures Regulations 1996.
Effect of the Order: To Remove part of 'Limited Waiting Mon-Sat 9am-6pm 2hrs No Return Within 4hrs' restriction on the following lengths of road, Clacton-on-Sea, in the District of Tendring.

This Order will be incorporated into 'The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019' by substituting map tile: TM175 147 Revision 1 to Revision 2.

(Frinton Road, Kirby Cross) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Frinton Road, Kirby Cross in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Holland Road to its junction with Halstead Road a distance of approximately 50m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 4th September 2022 for 3 nights (19:00-06:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231007069 - MDS Civil Engineering). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while splitter island installation works are undertaken by MDS Civil Engineering. An alternative route is available via Thorpe Road, Sneating Hall Lane, Walton Road, The Street, Kirby Road, Frinton Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 18th August 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Turpins Avenue, Holland on Sea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Turpins Avenue, Holland on Sea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Holland Road to its junction with Turpins Close a distance of approximately 30m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 5th September 2022 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5011001172050 -Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains replacement works are undertaken by Cadent.
An alternative route is available via Holland Road, Clarendon Park, Deanhill Avenue, Seafields Gardens and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 18th August 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Second Avenue, Frinton on Sea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Second Avenue, Frinton on Sea in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 65m south of its junction with Holland Road for a distance of approximately 65m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd August 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30081509675 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while connection upgrade works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Holland Road, Third Avenue, The Esplanade and vice versa (with access only into Second Avenue).
The Order came into effect on 4th August 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been
completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Sladburys Lane, Clacton on Sea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of theRoad Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Sladburys Lane, Clacton on Sea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Holland Road for a distance of approximately 210m in a north westerly direction. Theclosure is scheduled to commence on 22nd August 2022 for 26 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5011001170921 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains replacement works are undertaken by Cadent.
An alternative route is available via Holland Road, Valley Road, Burrs Road, Sladburys Lane and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 4th August 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
