(West Rainton, Pittington, Sherburn And Ludworth) (Parking And Waiting Restrictions) Order 2013 (Amendment No. 1) Order 2022

The Council on 5 August 2022 made an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, and part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 "the Act"), as amended, the effect of which comes into operation on 18 August 2022 and is to introduce 'No waiting At any time' restrictions on: a. South Street from a point 19 metres south of its junction with The Meadows in a northerly direction for a distance of 18 metres, and into the mouth of the junction with The Meadows for 13 metres, b. The western side of School Avenue from a point 16 metres south of its junction with The Crescent in a northerly direction for a distance of 29 m, and into both sides of the mouth of the junction with The Crescent for 12 metres c. The eastern side of School Avenue from a point 18m south of its junction with Woodland View in a northerly direction for 31 metres, and into the mouth of the junction with Woodland View for 14 metres on the northern side of the junction and 27 metres on the southern side of the junction d. The eastern side of Tollgate Fields (Unc 20.8) from a point adjacent to number 2 Tollgate Fields in a southerly direction for 45 metres e. The eastern side of Tollgate Fields (Unc 20.8) from a point adjacent to Number 5 Tollgate Fields in a north-easterly direction for a distance of 30 metres f. The southern side of Station Road from a point opposite 28 Station Road in an easterly then southerly direction for 42 metres onto the C12A to a point opposite The Anchorage. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by "the Act", as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks from 22 September 2022 apply to make an application for that purpose to the High Court.
