Notice is hereby given that on 3 August 2022 Wiltshire Council made the above mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which is to revoke The County of Wiltshire (Various Roads, Chippenham, Corsham and Lacock) (50mph Speed Limit) Order 2012 and re-enact it, in part, in the above Order 2 and to introduce a 40mph speed limit on B4643 Melksham Road, Chippenham - from a point 35 metres south of its junction with A4 Rowden Hill to its junction with B4528; B4528 Showell, Chippenham and Lacock - from its junction with B4643 Melksham Road to its junction with A350. A copy of the Orders can be obtained via email request to TrafficOrders@ wiltshire.gov.uk. Any person aggrieved by the Orders and desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in the Orders on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant Section of the above Act or on the grounds that any requirement of that Section or of Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act or any regulation made under the said Schedule, has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. The Orders will come into operation on 15 August 2022.

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Footpath 4 (Part), Lyneham and Bradenstoke; from its junction with Pound Close to its junction with Footpath 1, Lyneham and Bradenstoke. B) Footpath 5, Lyneham and Bradenstoke; from its junction with Footpath 1, Lyneham and Bradenstoke to its junction with Footpath 4, Lyneham and Bradenstoke to enable Construction of 50 residential units. Alternative route via existing alternative highways and rights of way. This Order will come into operation on 15 August 2022 and the closure will be required for 06 months.
