Temporary Closure Of C128 3/126 Aston Magna To Batsford (Blockley Parish) Cotswold District

Gloucestershire County Council intend to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of C128 3/126 Aston Magna to Batsford from its junction with 3/125 Church View to Middle Road to its junction with Blockley Footpath 26 for a distance of approximately 147 metres. The reason for the closure is to relocate internet services.

Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of 400589 Green Lane from its junction with Horn Lane to its junction with Evenlode Road for a distance of approximately 134 metres.
The reason for the closure is to install a new electrical connection.

The reason for the closure is for carriageway patching and improvement works. There will be no waiting permitted throughout the duration of the works.
The roads are expected to be closed and restricted on a rolling programme commencing 1st September 2022 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures and restrictions are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the closures and restrictions taking effect. This order can permit the closure and restriction of the roads in any order, or simultaneously as required and it is anticipated all works will be completed by 31st March 2023.
