14(1) Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Prohibition of Vehicles Date of Order: 30 August 2022 Coming into force: 8 September 2022

This Order is being introduced because of topographical and GPR and drainage surveys which are anticipated to be completed 24 September 2022. This will operate between 20:00 and 06:00hrs. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding or waiting in the length of Alvescot Road southwest of Carterton. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Upavon Way, B4020, A40, A361, B4477 and vice versa.
