The Isle Of Wight Council (Parking Places) Order No 2 2020 Notice Of Variation No 2 2022

Notice is hereby given that The Isle of Wight Council in exercise of its powers under Sections 35C and 46A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic Act 1991 and in accordance with Section 25 of The Local Authorities' Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England & Wales) Regulations 1996 intend to vary the charges for parking as follows: (a) To introduce the following new charges to the Isle of Wight short stay car parks.

SHORT STAY CAR PARK TARIFFS

Short Stay Car Parks - up to 30mins  £1.10  £1.10
Short Stay Car Parks - 30 mins-60 mins  £1.70  £1.80
Short Stay Car Parks -1-2 hours_ £3.40  £3.60
Short Stay Car Parks - 2-3 hours_£5.10  £5.40

These are - (Cowes - Cross Street, Cowes). (Newport - Chapel Street, Newport; Church Litten, Newport; Lugley Street, Newport; Sea Street, Newport). (Ryde - Victoria Street, Ryde). (Sandown - St John's Road, Sandown). (Shanklin - Landgaurd Road, Shanklin; Vernon Meadows, Shanklin).
(b) To introduce the following new charges to the Isle of Wight Council Pier Square, Yarmouth Short Stay Car Park:

(g) To introduce the following new charges to the Isle of Wight Council Long Stay and Short Stay Car Parks for Heavy Commercial Vehicles, Public Service Vehicles and Passenger Carrying Vehicles:

All days during the hours of 8.00am-6.00pm  £5.00 per visit
Overnight parking (defined as 6.00pm-8.00am the following day or any part thereof). £12.60 per visit
All days up to 10 hours £6.00 per visit
10 - 14 Hours £14.00

(h) To introduce the following new charges applicable to the Isle of Wight Council Newport Harbour (South), Newport, Long Stay Car Park for Heavy Commercial Vehicles, Public Service Vehicles and Passenger Carrying Vehicles:

(i) To introduce the following new charges to the Isle of Wight Council Spa Site, Shanklin, Long Stay Car Park for Heavy Commercial Vehicles, Public Service Vehicles and Passenger Carrying Vehicles:

(k) To introduce the following new charges to Isle of Wight Council Special Tariff Car Park:
