NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council intends to make traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control vehicle movement and waiting. The effect of the order (available to view at

) will be to prohibit vehicles proceeding on the roads detailed in Schedule A; to prohibit waiting and loading/unloading on the roads detailed in Schedule B; to allow limited waiting on those roads detailed in Schedule C; to prohibit vehicles proceeding on the roads detailed in Schedule D; in any direction other than that specified in Schedule E; to manually regulate those junctions detailed in Schedule F; and to prohibit cycling and electric bikes/scooters in those areas detailed in Schedule G. It is anticipated that the above restrictions will be required from 31/08/2022 to 05/09/2022. Access to property will remain. This Order will become operative from 30/08/2022.

All approaches to the following junctions will be manually controlled when necessary to facilitate the movement of traffic: St Peter's Roundabout; Bath Hill Roundabout; The BIC Roundabout; Durley Roundabout; St Michael's Roundabout; Bournemouth West Roundabout

Schedule G - Prohibition of Cycling and the use of Electric Bikes/Scooters
From Thurs 01/09/22 to Mon 05/09/2022 between 1000 and 2300, Bicycles and Electric Bikes/ Scooters are prohibited from riding on:
* All sections of the promenade, within the Bournemouth boundary, including Undercliff Drive (between Bournemouth Pier and Boscombe Pier) and Pier Approach.

* Russell Cotes Road (entire length) from its junction with Bath Road, to the point at which it joins East Overcliff Drive. East Overcliff Drive (entire length) to the point at which it joins Manor Road

* East Cliff Slope, from its junction with Russell Cotes Road to Pier Approach 1 Bournemouth Lower Gardens.
