NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles or pedestrians from proceeding along:-

Warth Fold Rd/Public Footpath 1 St Mary's, Radcliffe - extent of Metrolink line/Hagside Level Crossing
Public Footpath 9 St Andrews, Radcliffe - between Public Footpath 16 St Thomas' & Farcroft Ave
The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate re-railing works to the Metrolink line The alternative route will be:-
Public Footpath 4a and Public Footpath 2 St Marys, Radcliffe & vice versa Farcroft Ave, Warm Fold Rd, Bury Rd, Public Footpath 7 St Andrews, Radcliffe, Public Footpath 16 St Thomas', Radcliffe & vice versa
The proposed Order will come into operation on 13/08/22 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 6 months, although the anticipated duration of the works is approximately one week.
