The Council Of The Borough Of St Helens (Old Elton Head Road) (Prohibition Of Waiting) Experimental Order 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that St Helens Borough Council, in exercise of its powers under Sections 9, 10 and 11 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers, proposes to make an Order, the effect of which will be as specified in the Schedule attached to this Notice.

NO WAITING AT ANY TIME

South  From a point Up to and 200m East of including the its junction turning head with Covington Drive  Up to and including the turning head

The effect of the Order will be to prohibit waiting at any time within the turning head of Old Elton Head Road.
The Order will be implemented initially on an experimental basis for eighteen (18) months, until 8th February 2024 after which time it will be reviewed. The Council may then make the Order permanent or abandon it. The Order will come into operation on 8th August 2022. It is intended that the prohibition will assist in keeping the turning head clear to allow for the free flow of turning manoeuvres for vehicles during the closure of Lea Green Station Car Park.
