Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) A350 (Part), Chippenham, Corsham and Lacock; from its roundabout junction with A4, Chippenham to its roundabout junction B4528, Lacock to enable Bayliss Estates to carry out construction of new roundabout and associated works. Alternative route via B4528 - A4 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 30 August 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 on: A) 30 August 2022 to 13 September 2022; B) 18 October 2022 to 21 October 2022; C) 05 January 2023 to 18 January 2023; D) 21 January 2023 to 27 January 2023; E) 01 March 2023 to 09 March 2023; F) 20 March 2023 to 23 March 2023; G) 28 March 2023 to 31 March 2023; H) 11 April 2023 to 14 April 2023. Alternative route via B220 (unaffected length) - B3353 - A365 - A350 - C220 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 13 August 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 23:59 until 19 August 2022. C) A350 Beanacre Road (Part), Melksham; from outside property known as Spencers Sport and Social Club to outside property known as no.4 Beanacre Road to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out replacements on manhole covers. Alternative route via A350 (unaffected length) - A4 - A365 - A350 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order which previously came into operation on 26 May 2022 will now recommence on 08 August 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 for 1 night.

The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
