(C20 Bale Hill, Baybridge) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022
The Council on 29/7/2022 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on an 85 metre length of C20 Bale Hill that extends northwards from the road leading to Hunstanworth to the southern car park access road, Baybridge to enable bridge maintenance works to be undertaken. An alternative route will be available to vehicular traffic from the southern side of the closure from C20 south on Bale Hill turning east through Allenshields and north to B6306 at Bridge End then north west and north on B6306, turning west on Derwent View to Baybridge to the northern side of the closure, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 8/8/2022 and are anticipated to be completed in 10 weeks. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
