ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL HOUGHTON PLACE, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of water works to be executed on or near Houghton Place, Bradford has made the above-named Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Houghton Place from its junction with Drewton Road to a point at the side of the car park.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order will be available via Houghton Place (unaffected section), Darfield Street, Lumb Lane, Bowland Street, Manningham Lane, Drewton Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect at 21:30 hours on the 8th August 2022 and remain in force until 23:30 hours on the 8th August 2022 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
