Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1097 From The Steps To Bishon Lane Via Bishopstone, Bishopstone, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1097 From The Steps To Bishon Lane Via Bishopstone, Bishopstone, between Bromleigh and Orchard Close. Grid Ref: 341693/243172. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1098 onto the A438 onto the C1099 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to blockage removal works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 7th of September 2022 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
