DARLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) 2022 GRANGE AVENUE, HURWORTH

Darlington Borough Council has made an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to close:

GRANGE AVENUE

From its western junction with Hurworth Road northwards for approximately 20 meters to the northern end of the splitter island

An alternative route will be signed via the eastern junction of Grange Avenue

The Order is necessary to allow works to renew a gas main.

The maximum duration of the temporary closure under this Order is 18 months commencing from 15th August 2022, it is anticipated that the closure will be effective for 2 weeks.
