ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL FAIRBANK ROAD, GIRLINGTON, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of gas works to be executed on or near Fairbank Road, Girlington, Bradford has made the above-named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Fairbank Road from a point outside of No. 17 Fairbank Road to its junction with Whetley Lane.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order will be available via Fairbank Road (unaffected section), Toller Lane, Whetley Lane and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on the 8th August 2022 and remain in force until 18:00 hours on the 26th August 2022 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
