Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 As Amended By The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 Section 14(1) Temporary Road Closure Orange Hill Road

The BARNET LONDON BOROUGH COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing for the need to facilitate the replacement of a gas main, they intend to make an Order which will:
(a) temporarily close Orange Hill Road, to southbound traffic between its junctions with Deansbrook Road and No.168 Orange Hill Road (phase 1), while the works take place.

(b) temporarily close Orange Hill Road, to northbound traffic between its junctions with Ruddock Close and Deansbrook Road (phase 2), while the works take place.

The works will commence at 8.00am on Monday 15th August 2022 and is expected to last for 116 days. However, the closures and restrictions will only be as required and as indicated by cones and barriers. The alternative route for motorists will be via (i) Deansbrook Road, Burnt Oak Broadway, Watling Avenue and vice versa, and (ii) Orange Hill Road, Watling Avenue, Burnt Oak Broadway, Deansbrook Road and vice versa. Nothing in the above paragraphs shall apply to anything done with the permission of or at the direction of a Police Constable or a Civil Enforcement Officer in uniform.
