THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (SALISBURY) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING, TAXI RANK CLEARWAYS AND ON STREET PARKING) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2013 (AMENDMENT NO.27) ORDER 2022
(PREVIOUSLY ADVERTISED AS 2021)


Notice is hereby given that on 27 July 2022 Wiltshire Council made the above mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 to amend the following restrictions in the following restrictions in the Salisbury Consolidation Order 2013 by revoking Map Schedule Nos. IF83 (Outer Zone) and IH84 (Zone H) dated 3rd February 2014, II81 (Outer Zone) dated 18th June 2018, II84 (Zone A), IJ85 (Zone C), IK85 (Zone C), IO84 (Zone G) and IG83 (Zone H) dated 25th March 2019, IJ83 (Zone A) dated 31st July 2017, II84 (Zone C) and II81 (Zone D) dated 11th February 2013 and replace them by the insertion of revised Map Schedule Nos. IF83 (Outer Zone), II81 (Outer Zone), II84 (Zone A), IJ83 (Zone A), II84 (Zone C),
IJ85 (Zone C), IK85 (Zone C), II81 (Zone D), IO84 (Zone G), IG83 (Zone H) and IH84 (Zone H) dated 8th August 2022 the effect of which is as follows:

a) To introduce No Waiting at any time on
Finchley Road - west side - the complete length;
Finchley Road - east side - i) from its junction with Wilton Road to a point 19 metres north of that junction ii) from a point 50 metres north of its junction with Wilton Road to its junction with Finchley Road (eastern and western spurs);
Finchley Road - south side - from a point 12 metres west of its junction with Finchley Road (southern spur) to its eastern end;
Longland - both sides - from a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 4 and 5 Longland to a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 6 and 6a Longland;
Manor Farm Road - west side - from a point 20 metres north of its junction with Westbourne Close to a point 20 metres south of that junction;
Radnor Road - east side - from its junction with Queensbury Road to a point 10 metres north of that junction;
Radnor Road - west side - from its junction with Queensbury Road to a point 15 metres north of that junction; Queensbury Road - north side - from a point 12 metres west of its junction with Radnor Road to a point 10 metres east of that junction;
Westbourne Close - north side - from its junction with Manor Farm Road to a point 10 metres west of that junction,
Westbourne Close - south side - from its junction with Manor Farm Road to a point 13 metres west of that junction;

b) To remove No Waiting at any time on
Finchley Road - north side -from a point 12 metres west of its junction with Finchley Road (southern spur) to its western end;

c) To remove Resident Parking Monday to Saturday 8am-6pm Zone A Permit Holders Only and replace with No Waiting at any time on
Endless Street - west side - i) from a point 10 metres south of a point in line with the northern boundary wall of No. 55 Endless Street to a point 17 metres south of that boundary wall ii) from a point 3 metres north of a point in line with the northern boundary wall of property No. 55 Endless Street to a point 7 metres north of that boundary wall;

d) To remove Resident Parking Monday to Saturday 8am-6pm Zone A Permit Holders Only and replace with Unrestricted on
Park Street - north east side - from a point 5 metres north west of a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 68 and 70 Park Street to a point 9 metres in a north westerly direction;

e) To remove Parking Monday to Saturday 8am-6pm 2 hours No return within 4 hours Except Permit Holders Zone C and replace with No Waiting at any time on
Fairview Road - north east side - from its junction with Manor Road to a point 8 metres south east of that junction;

f) To remove Parking Monday to Saturday 8am-6pm 2 hours No return within 4 hours Except Permit Holders Zone C and replace with Unrestricted on
Wessex Road - east side - from a point 4 metres south of a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 31 and 33 Wessex Road to a point 9 metres south of that boundary;

g) To remove Parking Monday to Saturday 8am-6pm Resident Permit Holders Only Zone D and replace with No Waiting at any time on
Hartington Road - south west side - from a point 8 metres north west of a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 33 and 35 Hartington Road to a point 13 metres north west of that boundary;

h) To remove Parking Monday to Saturday 8am-6pm 2 hours No return within 4 hours Except Permit Holders Zone G and replace with Unrestricted on
Burford Road - south east side -  i) from a point 8 metres north east of a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 26 and 28 Burford Road to a point 6 metres south west of that boundary ii) from a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 30 and 32 Burford Road to a point 8 metres north east of that boundary;

i) To remove Parking Monday to Saturday 8am-6pm 2 hours No return within 4 hours Except Permit Holders Zone H and replace with Unrestricted on
Cornwall Road - north side - from a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 25 and 27 Cornwall Road to a point 6 metres west of that boundary;
Devonshire Road - north side - i) from a point 2 metres east of a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 17 and 19 Devonshire Road to a point 5 metres east of that boundary ii) from a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 21 and 23 Devonshire Road to a point 5 metres west of that boundary;
Devonshire Road -south side - i) from a point 3 metres west of a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 14 and 16 Devonshire Road to a point 10 metres west of that boundary ii) from a point 4 metres east of a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 20 and 22 Devonshire Road to a point 10 metres east of that boundary iii) from a point 4 metres east of a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 24 and 26 Devonshire Road to a point 9 metres east of that boundary iv) from a point 4 metres west of a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 30 and 32 Devonshire Road to a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 28 and 30 Devonshire Road;
Donaldson Road - south east side - i) from a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 32 and 34 Donaldson Road to a point 6 metres south west of that boundary ii) from a point 1 metre north east of a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 40 and 42 Donaldson Road to a point 7 metres south west of that boundary iii) from a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 46 and 48 Donaldson Road to a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 48 and 50 Donaldson Road;
Douglas Haig Road - north west side - from a point 5 metres north east of a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 11 and 13 Douglas Haig Road to a point 10 metres north east of that boundary (for administrative purposes only - no changes to be made on the ground);
Hulse Road - south west side - from a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 21 and 23 Hulse Road to a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 23 and 25 Hulse Road;
Moberly Road - south side -from a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 2 and 4 Moberly Road to a point 5 metres east of that boundary;
Victoria Road - south west side - i) from a point 14 metres north west of a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 4 and 6 Victoria Road to a point 15 metres north west of that boundary ii) from a point 19 metres north west of a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 4 and 6 Victoria Road to a point 20 metres north west of that boundary;
Wordsworth Road - north west side - from a point 2 metres north east of a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 15 and 17 Wordsworth Road to a point 6 metres north east of that boundary;

j) To introduce Parking Monday to Saturday 8am-6pm 2 hours No return within 4 hours Except Permit Holders Zone H on Devonshire Road - south side - from a point 10 metres west of a point in line with the boundary between property Nos. 14 and 16 Devonshire Road to a point 17 metres west of that boundary;

k) The inclusion of the following under 'PART X Streets or Parts of Streets in Salisbury For the Purpose of the Issue of Permits (Subject to Eligibility)'; 'Zone G 'Burford Lane'.

A copy of the Order can be obtained via email request to TrafficOrders@wiltshire.gov.uk. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant Section of the above Act or on the grounds that any requirement of that Section or of Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act or any regulation made under the said Schedule, has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. The Order will come into operation on 8 August 2022.

SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION
ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:

A) Westwood Road (Part), Salisbury; from its junction with Oliver Close for a distance of approximately 100m in a westerly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out sewer lining and associated works. Alternative route via Oliver Close - The Valley - Woodside Road - Rawlence Road - Westwood Road (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 30 August 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 22:00 until 02 September 2022. For further information please contact Wessex Water on 0345 6004600. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:

B) Astor Crescent (Part), Ludgershall; from its junction with Tidworth Road for a distance of approximately 50m in a southerly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out repairs to frame and cover and associated maintenance works. Alternative route via Tidworth Road - Astor Crescent and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 09 August 2022 and the closure will be required for 2 days. C) C334 (Part), Ebbesbourne Wake; from its junction with Duck Street to its junction with May Lane to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out pole test and associated works. Alternative route via C334 (unaffected length) -C12 - C326 - C65 - C334 (unaffected length) and vice versa.

This Order will come into operation on 09 August 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. For further information please contact Sunbelt Rentals Ltd on behalf of BT on 03700 500 792. Orders A) to C) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
