(Church Road, Vange) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Vange in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 50m northwest of its junction with Osbourne Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a northwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th August 2022 for 1 night (23:00-23:59), or where stated on a valid permit (KL701FSS2-24-77-280822 - Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while bridge examination works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd. An alternative route is available via Church Road, Clay Hill Road, Timberlog Lane, Mopsies Roundabout, Broadmayne, Broadmayne Roundabout and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 11th August 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, Borough of Castle Point) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway & Temporary Introduction of 30mph Speed Limit) (No.2) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close those lengths of road in the Borough of Castle Point as specified in the schedule to this Order
2. A temporary "No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above length of road for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
3. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in the various lengths of road as specified in the schedule.
"The Essex County Council (Castle Point Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 11th August 2022, exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Lower Road, Hullbridge in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 355m east of its junction with Hilltop Avenue for a distance of approximately 110m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th August 2022 for 17 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5021001167708 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains replacement works are undertaken by Cadent.
An alternative route is available via Ashingdon Road, West Street, Bradley Way, Southend Road, Southend Road Roundabout, Southend Road, Rochford Road, Harp House Roundabout Manners Way, Cuckoo Corner Roundabout, Prince Avenue, Arterial Road, Southend Arterial Road, Fairglen Interchange, Chelmsford Road, Carpenters Arms Roundabout, Chelmsford Road, Rawreth Lane, Hullbridge Road, Lower Road and vice versa (with access only into Lower Road). The Order came into effect on 28th July 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
