Public Path Diversion Order 2022
Footpath 25 Castle Hedingham

The above order, made on 21 July 2022 under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert a part length of Footpath 25, Castle Hedingham of unknown width shown by a bold continuous line on the order map commencing from Rosemary Lane at a point directly west of the property known as 'Yeomans' in a southwesterly direction cross-field for a total distance of 353 metres to a point where it reaches a field corner and continues unaffected, to an alternative route 2 metres in width shown by a bold broken black line commencing from the aforementioned commencement point, running in a southerly direction around a field edge for 59m continuing in a southwesterly direction around a field edge for a final distance of 327 metres to the aforementioned field corner where it continues unaffected.

Any representations about or objections to the order may be sent in writing to Alan Roscoe, Definitive Map Service, Essex County Council, Seax House, 2nd Floor, Victoria Road South, Chelmsford CM1 1QH not later than 1 September 2022. Please state the grounds on which they are made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Essex County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent together with the Order. Any such representation or objections will be taken into account by the Council with the result that they may be made available to the public under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985.

(Alderford Street, Sible Hedingham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Alderford Street, Sible Hedingham in the District of Braintree from its junction with Alderford Farm Road for a distance of approximately 220m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th August 2022 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KA160LTALDERFORDST - Gigaclear Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while fibre optic broadband installation works are undertaken by Gigaclear Ltd.
An alternative route is available via Alderford Farm Road, Alderford Street, Sheepcot Road, Queen Street, Station Road, Swan Street and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 11th August 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Hulls Mill Lane, Sible Hedingham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hulls Mill Lane, Sible Hedingham in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Halstead Road for a distance of approximately 620m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 30th August 2022 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KA160LTHULLSMILLLANE-01 -Gigaclear Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while fibre optic broadband installation works are undertaken by Gigaclear Ltd. An alternative route is available via Halstead Road, Halstead Road -A1124, Dynes Hall Road, Purls Hill, Hulls Mill Lane and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 11th August 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Sudbury Road, Gestingthorpe) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Sudbury Road, Gestingthorpe in the District of Braintree, from a point approximately 780m north east of its junction with Nether Hill for a distance of approximately 450m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st September 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30009987474 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Church Road, Bulmer Tye, Hedingham Road, Broad Road, Moat Street, Audley End, Church Street and vice versa (with access only into Sudbury Road, Lower Houses and Bulmer Street). The Order will come into effect on 11th August 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Church Road, Wickham St. Paul) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Wickham St. Paul in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Hedingham Road to its junction with Rectory Lane a distance of approximately 592m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th August 2022 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KA160LT037-
E-GREYHEY-03 - Gigaclear Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while superfast fibre optic broadband installation works are undertaken by Gigaclear Ltd.
An alternative route is available via Church Road, The Green, Old Road, Sudbury Road, Sudbury Road - Bulmer Tye - A131, Bulmer Tye, Hedingham Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 28th July 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Harrow Cross Road, Sible Hedingham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Harrow Cross Road, Sible Hedingham in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Forrey Green to its junction with Lamb Lane a distance of approximately 250m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18th August 2022 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KA160LTBS002 - Gigaclear Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Lamb Lane, Sible Hedingham in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Harrow Cross Road for a distance of approximately 565m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 15th August 2022 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KA160LTSB004 - Gigaclear Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while fibre optic broadband installation works are undertaken by Gigaclear Ltd. (School Road, Sible Hedingham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of School Road, Sible Hedingham in the District of Braintree, from its junction with Forrey Green for a distance of approximately 490m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th August 2022 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KA160LTSB003 - Gigaclear Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while superfast fibre optic broadband works are undertaken by Gigaclear Ltd.

(Various Roads, District of Braintree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway)

Order (No.5) 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close the various lengths of road in the District of Braintree as specified in the schedule.
2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping restriction will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (Braintree District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 28th July 2022, exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
