(East Road, West Mersea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of East Road, West Mersea in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Chapmans Lane for a distance of approximately 140m in a south westerly direction.
2. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' in that length of East Road, West Mersea in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Chapmans Lane for a distance of approximately 140m in a south westerly direction.
The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The restrictions are scheduled to commence on 15th August 2022 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2331058 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. These restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while investigation works are undertaken by Essex County Council. The Order came into effect on 28th July 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Kelvedon Road, Inworth/Tiptree) (Temporary Introduction of 30mph Speed Restriction) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 30-mph speed restriction in that length of Kelvedon Road, Inworth/Tiptree in the Borough of Colchester, from the existing 30mph sign at Inworth to the exisitng 30mph sign at Tiptree a distance of approximately 800m. The restriction is scheduled to commence on 16th August 2022 for 5 nights (19:00-05:00) or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2314309 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council. The Order came into effect on 28th July 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Mersea Road, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mersea Road, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Napier Road to its junction with St Botolphs Circus a distance of approximately 270m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th August 2022 for 9 nights (19:00-05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2329243 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway and footway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Mersea Road, Roberts Road, Eagle Drive, Military Road, Magdalen Street, St Botolphs Circus and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 28th July 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Station Road, Tiptree) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Station Road, Tiptree in the Borough of Colchester, from its junction with Gate House Mews for a distance of approximately 40m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 20th August 2022 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ7011001161209 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Cadent.
An alternative route is available via Station Road, Church Road, Maldon Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 28th July 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Upland Drive, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Upland Drive, Colchester in the Borough of Colchester, from a point approximately 45m south west of its junction with St Cyrus Road for a distance of approximately 75m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th August 2022 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AD03010694508 - Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one. network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Anglian Water. An alternative route is available via St Johns Road, Parsons Heath, Parsons Heath Roundabout, Harwich Road, Harwich Road Roundabout, St Andrews Avenue, Ipswich Road Roundabout, Ipswich Road and vice versa (with access into St Christopher Road and Upland Drive). The Order came into effect on 4th August 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of 30mph Speed Limit) & (Temporary Introduction of Clearway) (No.7) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close those lengths of road in the Borough of Colchester as specified in the schedule to this Order.
2. To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in those lengths of road as specified in the schedule.
3. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of road for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 28th July 2022, exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
