(Lumley Terrace, Chester-le-Street) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 132 metres of Lumley Terrace, Chester-le-Street, to the rear of property numbers 2 to 36. to enable sewer repair works to be undertaken. A diversion will be available to vehicular traffic via Front Lumley Terrace. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 22/8/22 from 8am and are anticipated to be completed in 3 days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
