(A167/North Lodge, Chester le Street) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 10 metres of North Lodge that extends eastward from its junction with A167 North Road, Chester le Street to enable electricity supply works to be undertaken. There is no alternative route available to vehicular traffic during the closure period. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 22/8/22 from 9.30am and are anticipated to be completed in 6 hours. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
