(Iveston Road and Pontop View, Delves Lane) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2022

The Council on 29/7/22 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all pedestrian traffic from proceeding on 35 metres of segregated footpath to the western side of number 22 to 28 Iveston Road, Delves Lane to enable telecom duct works to be undertaken. Alternative route will be available to pedestrian traffic from the southern side of the closure from number 12 westerly to Iveston Road then north easterly via the associated footway leading to number 32 Iveston Road / Pontop View to the northern side of the closure, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 6 months. The proposed works are to commence on 8/8/22 and are anticipated to be completed in 5 days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
