(Moorlands Crescent, Consett) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

The Council on 29/7/22 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on a 73 metre (full) length of Moorlands Crescent, from its junction with Moorlands, Consett to enable telecom chamber and duct works to be undertaken. There is no alternative route available to vehicular traffic during the works but some resident access will be permitted when safe to do so. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 8/8/22 and are anticipated to be completed in 5 days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
