NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: U74004, Knolton Lane, Kilpeck, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U74004, Knolton Lane, Kilpeck, outside 'Shaff Penn Cottage'. Grid Ref: 345268/230226. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1230 onto Standard Lane and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to mains replacement works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place.

The said closure will come into force on 18th of August 2022 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 8 days.
