Gloucestershire County Council has made an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14,
15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the roads as detailed in the
schedule below.

The Roads fall within the various districts as describe in the schedule below and in the County
of Gloucestershire.

There will be no parking or waiting permitted throughout the duration of the works.
The reason for the closure and restriction is for urgent Carriageway Resurfacing and
Patching works.
The road was originally closed for 5 days by Urgent Notice commencing on the
1st August 2022. However, the works have not been completed and so it is necessary to
extend the closure by an Order which can authorise the closure of the road for up to eighteen
months from the date of the original Notice. It is expected that the roads will re-open on the
8th September 2022.

The roads are to be closed and restricted during various times on a rolling programme
commencing the 1st August 2022 where the presence of approved signage will indicate
whether the closures and restrictions are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times
will be displayed on site prior to the closure/restrictions taking effect. This Order can permit
the closure and restriction of the roads in any order, or simultaneously as required. For further

Pedestrian access and emergency access will be maintained at all times.
