BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL
(VARIOUS ROADS, CROWTHORNE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2021

Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, in accordance with Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in the direction stated along the following lengths of road: -

a) High Street, Crowthorne, in both directions between Dukes Ride and Sandhurst Road.

The diversion route for this closure will be via B3348 Dukes Ride, New Wokingham Road, Waterloo Road, Church Street, or this route reversed.

b) B3348 Dukes Ride, Crowthorne, in both directions between New Road and Bracknell Road.

The diversion route for this closure will be via B3348 Bracknell Road, Old Wokingham Road, B3430 Nine Mile Ride, New Wokingham Road, Waterloo Road, Church Street, or this route reversed. Access will be maintained where possible for residents and businesses affected by this Order.

The purpose of this Order is to enable works to be executed on the road namely carriageway resurfacing works.

The proposed Order will come into operation on the 23rd August 2022 and its maximum duration will be 6 months or until the completion of the works whichever shall be the earlier. It is currently anticipated that the resurfacing works on sites a) to b) above will be carried out between 23rd August and 9th September 2022.

This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road. Date - 1st August 2022 Andrew Hunter
