WREXHAM COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL (OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2022

On 26/7/2022 Wrexham County Borough Council made an Order under Section 35(1) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 regulating the use of the parking places within Wrexham Town Centre which are listed in column 1 of the Schedules.

The Order contains provisions restricting the use of the parking place to use by those classes of vehicles specified in column 3 of the Schedules and specifies its days and hours of operation and scale of charges as stated in columns 4, 5 and 6 respectively of the Schedules. Car parking charges will be collected by means of "Pay and Display" machines located within the parking place or by any other method of payment including electronic that the Council deem appropriate. The charges have been structured to relate to both short and long term parking areas within the parking place in question. The Council may issue permits for a parking place upon conditions.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the 1984 Act or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any other Instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from the 1/8/2022 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
