Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Friday 29 July 2022 and Saturday 29 October 2022 the following roads will be closed for days, nights, or both day and night for a period of approximately one to 15 days, or when the works have been completed, to enable carriageway maintenance works to be undertaken. No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following roads; and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road where indicated by traffic signs. These works may include carriageway and footway reconstruction and resurfacing works. In some cases, it may be necessary to close these sections of roads on more than one occasion within this timeframe. Exact dates, durations and access information will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter and on street advanced warning signs before the scheme commences. for its entire length; St Pauls Crescent, Shanklin, for its entire length; Heytesbury Road, Newport, for its entire length; Elm Lane, Calbourne, for its entire length; Pound Lane, Calbourne, for its entire length; Hoxall Lane, Brighstone, for its entire length; Whitehouse Cross, Porchfield, for its entire length; Summers Lane, Totland, for its entire length; Northcliff Gardens, Shanklin, for its entire length; Love Lane, Bembridge, for its entire length; Gills Cliff Road, Ventnor, for its entire length; York Road, Ventnor, for its entire length; Egerton Road, Bembridge, for its entire length; Embankment Road, Bembridge, for its entire length; Sandown Road, Shanklin, for its entire length; Ocean View Road, Ventnor, for its entire length; Mitchell Avenue, Ventnor, for its entire length; Fairview Crescent, Lake, for its entire length; Albert Road, Gurnard, for its entire length.
The alternative routes will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during rectification works.

Notice is hereby given that the following Orders have been made under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: -


The Isle of Wight Council (The Parade, Cowes, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Loading Bay) Order No 1 2022

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0600 hours on Friday 29 July 2022 until 1000 hours on Sunday 07 August 2022, no person shall cause any vehicle to load or unload within the marked loading bay outside of Osborne Court for more than 15 minutes with no return within one hour. The restriction is required in connection with Cowes Week Festival.
The Isle of Wight Council (The Parade, Cowes, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Disabled Drivers Parking Bay) Order No 1 2022
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0600 hours on Friday 29 July 2022 until 1000 hours on Sunday 07 August 2022, no person shall cause any vehicle to park within the designated disabled parking bays outside of Osborne Court unless displaying a blue badge for more than one hour with no return within two hours. The restriction is required in connection with Cowes Week Festival.
Notice is hereby given that the following Orders have been made under Section 21 of the Town Police Clauses Act 1847:-
The Isle of Wight Council (Various Streets, Sandown, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 4 2022
Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that on Saturday 30 July 2022, between 1500 hours and 2130 hours, or when the event has finished, whichever is the sooner, no person shall cause any non-event related vehicle to proceed along a) Culver Parade for its entire length; b) Sandown Esplanade between Esplanade Road and Avenue Road Slipway.
The following roads will be closed as the parade proceeds - 1) High Street for its entire length; 2) Beachfield Road between its junctions with Royal Crescent and High Street; 3) Royal Crescent for its entire length; 4) Melville Street between its junctions with Royal Crescent and Fitzroy Street; 5) Fitzroy Street between its junctions with Melville Street and Station Avenue; 6) Station Avenue between its junctions with Fitzroy Street and Albert Road; 7) Albert Road between its junctions with Station Avenue and Victoria Road; 8) Victoria Road between its junctions with Albert Road and High Street; 9) Culver Parade for its entire length. The closure is required for safety during Sandown's Main Carnival. The alternative route will be signposted locally.

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that on Saturday 30 July 2022, between 1000 hours and 1300 hours, or when the event has finished, whichever is the sooner, no person shall cause any non-event related vehicle to proceed along 1) Esplanade, for its entire length; 2) Avenue Slipway for its entire length; 3) Culver Parade for its entire length. The closure is required for safety during Sandown's Children's Carnival. The alternative route will be signposted locally.

The Isle of Wight Council (Various Streets, Shanklin, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic & Temporary No Waiting At Any Time) Order No 1 2022

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that on Tuesday 02 August 2022, between 1130 and 1430 hours, or when the event has finished, whichever is the sooner,
A) no person shall cause any non-event related vehicle to proceed along, 1) Palmerston Road between its junctions with High Street and Cross Street; 2) Cross Street for its entire length; 3) High Street between its junctions with Cross Street and Regent Street; 4) Regent Street for its entire length.

B) no person shall cause any non-event related vehicle to wait along, 1) Palmerston Road between its junctions with High Street and Cross Street; 2) Cross Street for its entire length; 3) Regent Street between its junctions with Atherley Road and Carter Road.

The closure is required for safety during the Shanklin Children's Carnival. The alternative route will be signposted locally.

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that on Wednesday 03 August 2022, between 1700 and 2300 hours, or when the event has finished, whichever is the sooner,
A) no person shall cause any non-event related vehicle to proceed along, 1) Popham Road for its entire length; 2) Priory Road between its junctions with Popham Road and Church Road; 3) Church Road between its junctions with Priory Road and High Street; 4) High Street for its entire length; 5) Regent Street for its entire length; 6) Atherley Road for its entire length; 7) Queens Road for its entire length; 8) Chine Avenue for its entire length.

B) No person shall cause any non-event related vehicle to wait along, 1) Popham Road for its entire length; 2) Priory Road for its entire length; 3) Regent Street between its junctions with Atherley Road and Carter Road; 4) Atherley Road for its entire length; 5) Queens Road for its entire length.

The closure is required for safety during the Shanklin Main Carnival. The alternative route will be signposted locally.
