Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) Portal Road (Part), Melksham Without; from its roundabout junction with A350 for a distance of approximately 250m in an easterly direction to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out resurfacing existing road. Alternative route via A350 - A365 - C400 - Portal Road (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 22 August 2022 and the closure will be required between the hour of 08:00 and 16:00 for 2 days. B) C165 (Part), Lacock and Melksham Without; from its junction with Bowden Hill, Lacock for a distance of approximately 2km in a southerly direction to enable BT to carry out safe access to the network to enable repair of overhead cables and associated works. Alternative route via C165 (unaffected length) - A3102 - C381 - A350 -C150 - Hither Way - C155 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 22 August 2022 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 5 days. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. The County Of Wiltshire (Various Roads) (Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic) Order (No.14) 2022 (Ref Ttro 8218)

Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily, to all vehicles, the lengths of road specified in the Schedules to this notice. The order is required to enable carriageway micro asphalt dressing and associated maintenance works and will be operative from the 22 August 2022 for a maximum period of 18 months. Where a road is to be closed on two separate dates this is to allow sufficient time between the surface dressing and sealing and lining works. The closures will not be implemented for the whole of the period and are anticipated to be for one to two days duration only when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessitated by the works. It is anticipated that advance signs will be deployed 2 weeks prior to the closure dates. Access will be maintained where possible although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
