Application To Vary A Premises Licence

Notice is given that Admiral Taverns Piccadilly Limited has applied to Wrexham County Borough Council to vary a Premises Licence in respect of premises known as The Railway Inn, 11 Railway Road, Rhosddu, Wrexham, LL11 2DL. The proposed variation application has been submitted request an increase of the licensed area to include the outdoor patio area adjacent to the premises (photographs attached) which has been used on several occasions (under use of a Temporary events notice) an external drinking area, for use of a small temporary outside bar (photographs attached). This area will only be used for events associated with the Wrexham racecourse. This application has been submitted to deal with overflow of customers on match days and any racecourse associated events to put a permanent control measure in place due to increased footfall on these days. The outside area is proposed to be used for sale of alcohol and recorded music only (ancillary) between the hours of 12:00 - 22:00.

Representations must be made by 15th August 2022. Any person wishing to make representations on this shall give notice, in writing, stating the nature of the grounds for making such representations to The Licensing Officer at the above address*. Please note: It is an offence under section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003, to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in or in connection with the application and the maximum fine on summary conviction of such an offence is £5000.
