Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as the highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: A438 Greenacres To Powys Boundary, Whitney-On-Wye, Herefordshire, Temporary Speed Restriction Order, to temporarily restrict the speed of vehicles to 20mph on the following road, A438, at the following location grid ref: 325894/247511 to 325588/247583. The said restriction is required due to emergency landslip works on or near said road and the likelihood of danger to the public. The said restriction will come into force on 15th August 2022 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 months.
