Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, Section 14 As Amended And The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 Semley Road, Norbury Temporary Restriction Of Traffic
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate pipe repair works they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Semley Road.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Semley Road will be closed between its junctions with London Road and Semley Place.
3. Whilst the closure is in place the diversion routes for traffic will be as detailed below and appropriately signed.
? Westbound - via London Road, Stanford Road and Bavant Road or via London Road and Tylecroft Road.
? Eastbound - via Bavant Road and Stanford Road or via Bavant Road and Tylecroft Road.
4. The Order will come into operation on 17 August 2022, and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within five days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate a crane operation, they intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict traffic in Woburn Avenue, Purley.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place:
a) Woburn Avenue will be closed between its junction with High Street, Purley, and the common boundary of Nos. 2 and 4 Woburn Avenue.
b) The taxi stand in Woburn Avenue, adjacent to the junction with High Street, Purley, will be suspended.
3. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
4. The Order will come into operation on 16 August 2022, and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within one day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be re-introduced should further works be required.

Definitive Map And Statement Of Public Rights Of Way For The Kenley Area
London Borough Of Croydon Council Addition Of Restricted Byways (Hawkhirst Road And Longwood Road) At Kenley Definitive Map Modification Order 2022
The above Order made 28 July 2022, if confirmed as made, will modify the definitive may and statement for the area by adding
1) Restricted Byway commencing opposite number 34 Valley Road Kenley at Grid Reference TQ 3295 5965 (Point A on Plan 1) and running in
a south-westerly direction for approximately 48 metres to its junction with Wildwood Court at Grid Reference TQ 3291 5961 (Point B on Plan 1) then continuing south-easterly for approximately 279 metres to its junction with restricted Byway 962 (Longwood Road) at Grid Reference TQ 3301 5935 (Point C on Plan 1). The Restricted Byway then continues in a south-easterly direction for approximately 474 metres, through Hawkhirst Woods to its junction with Public Footpath 31 at Grid Reference TQ 3319 5990 (Point D on Plan 1) then continues through Hawkhirst Woods in a south easterly direction for approximately 352 metres to its junction with Public Bridleway 36 at Grid Reference TQ 3325 5856 (Point E on Plan 1) as shown on the Order Map (Plan 1).
2) Restricted Byway commencing at its junction with Restricted Byway 961 (Hawkhirst Road) at Grid Reference TQ 3301 5935 (Point C on Plan 1) and running in a westerly direction for approximately 212 metres to Grid Reference TQ 3265 5941 (Point F on Plan 1) and then running north westerly for approximately 170 metres to its junction with the public carriageway outside Longwood Cottage at Grid Reference TQ 3264 5941 (Point G on Plan 1) as shown on the Order Map (Plan 1).

Any representation or objection relating to the Order must be sent in writing to Anthony Graham Highway Records Officer Sustainable Communities Regeneration & Economic Recovery Directorate, Bernard Weatherill House, Floor 6 Zone C, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon CR0 1 EA (quoting Reference Hawkhirst Road) not later than 8 September 2022 stating the grounds on which they are made.
If no representations or objections are duly made to the Order, or to any part of it, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Croydon Council, instead of submitting the order to the Secretary of State may itself confirm the Order. If the Order is submitted to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with it.

Croydon Carnival - London Road Associated Restrictions
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate the Croydon Carnival event they intend to make a Traffic Order the effect of which will be to restrict traffic and parking in Derby Road, Handcraft Road, London Road and Parsons Mead.
2. Whilst the carnival is taking place, the effect of the Order will be to:
a) Close London Road to through traffic between its junctions with Panton Close and the northern kerb-line of the vehicular entrance to Lidl, No. 99 London Road.
b) Suspend parking and introduce waiting and loading restrictions operating "at any time" in the following roads.
i. Handcraft Road, the south-west side, between its junctions with Sumner Road and Chatfield Road.
ii. Derby Road, both sides between its junctions with Parsons Mead and London Road.
iii. Parsons Mead, the south-west side between Chatfield Road and Nelson's Close.
3. The provisions of the Order will not prevent access being maintained for pedestrians to any premises.
4. The Order will come into effect on 31 July 2022 and will remain in force for one day from approximately 7.00am to 8.00pm.
5. Whilst the prohibitions remain in force, the alternative routes for diverted traffic will be as detailed below and appropriately signed.
? Via Sumner Road, Mitcham Road, Old Town, Fly-Over, Park Lane, Wellesley Road and Station Road.
? Via St James's Road, Hogarth Crescent, Newgate, Wellesley Road and Station Road.
? Via Tamworth Road, Drummond Road, Reeves Corner, Old Town Round-about, Old Town, Mitcham Road and Sumner Road.

Harefield Road & Heatherset Gardens, Norbury Associated Restrictions
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate a family fun day event they intend to make a Traffic Order the effect of which will be to:
(a) temporarily close Heatherset Gardens.
(b) temporarily suspend free parking and introduce waiting and loading restrictions operating "at any time" in Heatherset Gardens to prohibit parking.
(c) temporarily suspend free parking and introduce waiting and loading restrictions operating "at any time" in Harefield Road to prohibit parking.
2. The provisions of the Order will not prevent access being maintained for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the slip road to which this Order relates, or to any other premises accessible from, and only from, that slip road.
3. The Order will come into effect on 07 August 2022 and will remain in force for one day. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
4. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
(b) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
