Bishops Meadow, Temporary Cycleway Closure

Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: Bishops Meadow Cycleway/Public Bridleway HER32A, Hereford, Temporary Cycleway Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the Bishops Meadow Cycleway/ Public Bridleway HER32A, Hereford, outside the Saracens Head, Grid Ref: 350823/239558. The alternative diversion for these works is St Martins Street onto Wye Street.

The said closure is required due to trial hole works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 23rd of August 2022 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
