(Park Road, Sherburn Village) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic, except for access by emergency service vehicles, from proceeding on 420 metres of Park Road from its junction with B1283 Front Street to and including its junction with Gray Avenue, Sherburn Village to enable carriageway resurfacing works to be undertaken. Alternative route will be available to traffic from the southern side of the closure from Front street, easterly on B1283 to Sherburn Hill then northward on C60 to High Pittington, continuing north on C13a to Low Pittington then west onto Lady's Piece Lane then south to Sherburn Village to the northern side of the closure, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 14/8/22 from 7am to 7pm daily and are anticipated to be completed in 5 days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
