(Derby Road back, Stanley) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

The Council on 22/7/2022 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on an 18 metre length of Derby Road back (numbers 22-25), Stanley to enable electricity supply renewal works to be undertaken. An alternative route will be available to vehicular traffic from the western side of the closure north on Joseph Street, east on Derby Road and south on Tyne Road back to the eastern side of the closure, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 4/8/2022 and are anticipated to be completed in 2 weeks. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
