14(1) Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Compton Beauchamp/Woolstone - BOAT Closure Date of Order: 1 August 2022

Coming into force: 10 August 2022 This Order continues in force the closure of the byway open to all traffic introduced for resurfacing as the route is unsafe for continued public access, which is anticipated to be completed 19 January 2023. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily Compton Beauchamp BOAT 12 (174/12) and Woolstone BOAT 1 (414/1) which run north-south between the villages. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for pedestrian access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of BOAT. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. There is no alternative off road route for those affected by the closure.

This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref. T10662/AC)
