Implementation of Zebra Crossing - B1441 London Road, Little Clacton, Tendring
Notice is hereby given that under Section 23 of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), Essex County Council has established a Zebra Crossing on B1441 London Road, Little Clacton, in the District of Tendring located as follows:
To implement: 'Zebra Crossing' on the following lengths of road.
Road Description
B1441 London Road
The centre line of the crossing is located at a point approximately 7.0 metres southwards in line with the northern boundary of property number 10, B1441 London Road.
The width between give way lines is approximately 6.7 metres.
Zigzags:
NORTH SIDE OF ZEBRA CROSSING: Zigzags are located on the east side of B1441 London Road in a northerly direction for a distance of approximately 17.2 metres, and on the west side of B1441 London Road in a northerly direction for a distance of approximately 4.4 metres.
SOUTH SIDE OF ZEBRA CROSSING: Zigzags are located on the east side of B1441 London Road in a southerly direction for a distance of approximately 17.2 metres, and on the west side of B1441 London Road in a southerly direction for a distance of approximately 13.0 metres.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 5 August 2022.

(Tendring District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No.24) Order 2022
Notice hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(1), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 46, 49, 53 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Road Description
49 Mason Road
North Side: From a point approximately 1.8 metres west from the boundary of 49/51 Mason Road, north westerly for a distance of approximately 3.1 metres. (New post and sign to be installed. 661A)
This notice is in addition to a previous notice that was advertised on the 21 July 2022 and unfortunately, Mason Road was omitted from the notice.
This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Tendring District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 by substituting tile numbers TM155 152 Rev 0 to Rev 1.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 3 August 2022.

Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
(Second Avenue, Frinton on Sea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Second Avenue, Frinton on Sea in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 65m south of its junction with Holland Road for a distance of approximately 65m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd August 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30081509675 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while connection upgrade works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Holland Road, Third Avenue, The Esplanade and vice versa (with access only into Second Avenue).
The Order will come into effect on 4th August 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Sladburys Lane, Clacton on Sea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Sladburys Lane, Clacton on Sea in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Holland Road for a distance of approximately 210m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 22nd August 2022 for 26 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5011001170921 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains replacement works are undertaken by Cadent. An alternative route is available via Holland Road, Valley Road, Burrs Road, Sladburys Lane and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 4th August 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
