14(1) Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Launton, Footpath 9 Closure Date of Order: 8 August 2022 Coming into force: 31 August 2022 This Order is being introduced because resurfacing and culvert work which are anticipated to be completed 31 August 2022. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily Footpath
9. There will also be no access from Launton Footpaths 11 and 12 into Yew Tree Close. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for pedestrian access to property which is only accessible from the closed section of footpath. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.

The alternative route for those affected by the closure when coming from the West is walkers can detour along the Bicester road pavement and then along Launton Footpath
10. No diversion if coming from the East. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref. T10678/AC)
