Application For Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent

Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council is seeking planning permission and intends to apply to the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government for Listed Building Consent for Refurbishment and alteration of existing college buildings including provision of accessible ramp; installation of PV Panels and VRF condenser unit to detached gymnasium building, and installation of new corridor at first floor within Grade II listed former school building. at Wilson Marriage Centre, Barrack Street, Colchester, Essex, CO1 2LR - CC/COL/65/22 & CC/COL/65/22/LB
The proposal may affect the setting of Wilson Marriage School which is a Grade II Listed Building.
The proposed development may not accord with the provision of the Colchester Borough Council Local Plan 2017-2033 Section 2 adopted July 2022 in force in the area which the land to which the application relates is situated.
