Darlington Borough Council Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (Temporary Road Closure) 2022 Barton Street, Darlington

Darlington Borough Council has made an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to close:

Barton Street

From a point 7 metres north of the south side of Allan Street junction northwards for 5 metres

An alternative route will be signed via Allan Street, Dodsworth Street and vice versa. The Order is necessary to allow works to renew a gas main.

The maximum duration of the temporary closure
under this Order is 18 months commencing from
1st August 2022, it is anticipated that the closure will be effective for 7 days.
