Temporary Closure of A356, Maiden Newton

DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along A356, MAIDEN NEWTON between its junction with Bull Lane and its junction with Frome Lane, a distance of approximately 70 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 30 July 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 08 August 2022. This Order will enable Wessex Water, safe access to redirect a misconnected sewer. An alternative route will be signed using; A356 - A3066 - A30 - A37. Temporary Closure of Mags Barrow, West Parley

DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along MAGS BARROW, WEST PARLEY between New Road and Chine Walk (in both directions), a distance of approximately 125 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 15 August 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 2 September 2022. This Order will enable JDT Utilities agents for SGN, safe access to lay essential gas mains in the highway.
An alternative route will be signed using: New Road - Chine Walk.
