Temporary Closure of Ringwood Road, Alderholt

DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along RINGWOOD ROAD, ALDERHOLT from the Footway Between Broomfield Drive in a southerly direction, a distance of approximately 100 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 25 July 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 12 August 2022. This Order will enable Wessex Water, safe access to install a new sewer main and associated apparatus. An alternative route will be signed using: Hilbury Road - B3078.

Temporary Closure of Holt Wood Horseshoes to Billberies Farm Lane Pond, Holtwood

DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along HOLT WOOD HORSESHOES TO BILLBERIES FARM LANE POND from the entrance of Shire Mead in a northly direction (in both directions), a distance of approximately 45 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 1st August 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 9th August 2022.
This Order will enable South West Water, safe access to provide a new water service.
An alternative vehicular route will be signed using: Pond Head - Petesham Lane.

Temporary Closure of Victoria Road, Ferndown Night Works

DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 18 August 2022 between 20:00 and 06:00 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 27 August 2022.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway maintenance and resurfacing works.
