14(1) Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Oxford, Cowley Road and Oxford Road Prohibition of Vehicles and No Loading/Unloading Date of Order: 25 July 2022 Coming into force: 3 August 2022 This Order is being introduced because of removal of old and laying new road markings for the Active Travel Quickways Project works which is anticipated to be completed 11 August 2022 working between 17:30hrs and 06:00hrs. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding or waiting or loading/ unloading in sections of Cowley Road and Oxford Road based on the following approximations (subject to contingencies and weather):
3 August Between Hollow Way and Littlehay Rd
4 August Between Littlehay Rd and Howard St
5 August Between Howard St and Magdalen Rd
8 August Between Magdalen Rd and Randolph St
9 August Between Randolph St and Rectory Rd
10 August Between Rectory Rd and The Plain. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Iffley Road, Henley Avenue, B4495 and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref. T10499/AC)

Oxford, Beaumount Street Parking Bay Suspensions Date of Order: 8 August 2022 Coming into force: 19 August 2022 This Order is being introduced because of kerb & drainage repairs which are anticipated to be completed 14 September 2022. This will operate between 19:00 and 06:00hrs. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit parking by suspending all parking bays overnight in Beaumont Street. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exceptions are included for emergency service vehicles and for the purpose of the works. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. The relevant parts of the Oxfordshire County Council (Oxford City) (Designation and Regulation of Pay and Display Parking) Order 2017 and the Oxfordshire County Council (Disabled Persons Parking Places - Oxford) Order 2010 (as amended) will be temporarily suspended.
