(Station Rd & Fenwick Rd, Giffnock) (Temporary Restriction to Use of Road) Order 2022

On the 25 July 2022 the Council made the above named Order under. Section 16Aof the RoadTraffic Regulation Act 1984, to restrict vehicular access and movements on Station Road Giffnock and a section of the adjacent Fenwick Road in order to safely facilitate the Giffnock Classic Car Event scheduled to be held within the Station Car Park.

The Order authorises the use of temporary restrictions to vehicular traffic in order to minimise potential conflict between vehicles and pedestrians by introducing a closure of Station Road and the near side lanes of Fenwick Road between Dalmeny Avenue and Orchard Drive/Orchard Park with a reduction of the speed limit to 20mph over the same section of road.

The restrictions will be in effect from 7am until 6pm on Saturday 3 September 2022

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
