Somerset County Counci District of Sedgemoor Parish of Otterhampton Temporary Closure of Combwich Road

Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Combwich Road - from the junction with Lane from Comwich Road to Moxhill Farm, south- eastwards for a distance of 30 metres. This Order will enable Walters on behalf of Somerset Highways to carry out vegetation removal and repairs to existing masonry structure.

The Order becomes effective on 9th August 2022 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 15th August 2022 and last until 26th August 2022 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 12 days. Please visit
