Licensing Act 2003 Notice of application to grant a new premise licence.

We Mark and Julie Weir have applied to Darlington Borough Council for a New Premise Licence at The New Banktop 8-12 Yarm Road Darlington DL1 1XH. To allow for the retail sale of alcohol both on and off the premises. The hours of 11.00 until 24.00 hours Monday to Sunday. The licensable activities include recorded music, performance of live music,performance of dance, indoor sporting events and provision of late night refreshments. All activities will be variant and the hours will be Monday to Sunday 11.00 to 24.00 hours.

Interested parties or responsible authorities wishing to oppose the application must give notice in writing to licensing manager Darlington Borough Council, Town Hall, Darlington, DL1 5QT by 12 th August 2022. The record of this application may be inspected Monday - Friday (except bank holidays) at the office of Darlington Borough Council, Licensing Town Hall, Feethams Darlington DL1 5QT between the hours of 9.00am and 4.00pm or on the worldwide web at www.darlington.gov.uk It is an offence, liable on conviction to a fine up to level 5 on the standard scale, under section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003 to make a false statement in or in connection with this application.
