(Footpath Number 6, rear Broadway Avenue, Trlmdon) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2022

The above-named Order made by the Council on 14/1/22, under section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and which became operational on 27/1/22 has been continued in force from 27/7/22, as approved by the Secretary of State for Transport, until 27/7/24 or until completion of the works, whichever is the earlier. The effect of the Order is to prohibit all pedestrian traffic from proceeding on a 140 metre length of Footpath Number 6 that extends south westerly from B1278 Salters Lane and to the rear of Broadway Avenue, Trimdon by reason of likelihood of danger to the public and to permit housing development works to be carried out on or adjacent to the said public footpath. Alternative route will be available from the north eastern side of the closure via the eastern footway of B1278 Salters Lane southwards for approximately 110 metres then via a link path on the western side of the road leading to Footpath Number 6 to the south western side of the closure, and vice versa.
