Waiting Restrictions) Order 2022
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bury Metropolitan Borough Council proposes to make the above named Order under sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers. The effect of the Order will be to vary the waiting restrictions in this area as follows:-No Waiting at Any Time
Elms St Whitefield - Southerly side from the easterly kerbline of Bury New Rd for a distance of 50m in an easterly direction
Elms St Whitefield - Southerly side from a point 62m east of the easterly kerbline of Bury New Rd to a point 17m east of its junction with Moreton Ave Elms St Whitefield - Northerly side from its junction with Bury New Rd to a point SI.6m west of its junction with Moreton Ave
Limited Waiting (Mon-Sat Waiting limited to 2 hours no return 2 hours)
Elms St Whitefield Southerly side from a point 50m north-east of the easterly kerbline
of Bury New Rd for a distance of 12m in a north-easterly direction
The Council intends to amend The Metropolitan Borough of Bury (Stanley Rd/Elms
St Whitefield) (Prohibition of Waiting and Revocation of Prohibition of Waiting)
Order 2008 and also to revoke the Elms St Whitefield (prohibition of Waiting and
Limited Waiting) (Amendment) Order 2019
Details of the proposals are in the draft Order (including the exemptions contained within them) with plans showing the roads and areas affected and a statement of the Council's reasons for making the Orders. All representations whether in support or objecting to the proposals, together with the grounds on which they are made must be made in writing and sent to 3 Knowsley Place, Duke St, Bury, BL9 0EJ or preferably by email to trafficOburv.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bury Metropolitan Borough has made the above named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as follows:-No Waiting at Any Time
Palatine St, Ramsbottom - West side, between Irwell St and King St AND East side from the southerly kerbline of King St for a distance of 5m in a southerly direction AND East side from the northerly kerbline of Irwell St for a distance of 10m in a northerly direction
King St, Ramsbottom - south side, from the westerly kerbline of Palatine St for a distance of 5m in a westerly direction
Irwell St, Ramsbottom - both sides from the westerly kerbline of Railway St in a westerly direction up to an including the cul-de-sac end No Loading 6am - 6pm Sat, Sun & Bank Holidays
Irwell St, Ramsbottom - north side from the westerly kerbline of Railway St for a distance of 15m in a westerly direction AND South side from the westerly kerbline of Railway St for a distance of 53m in a westerly direction
Railway Street, Ramsbottom - Both sides, from its junction with Square St to its junction with Bridge St
The Council has revoked The Greater Manchester County (Irwell Street and Palatine Street, Ramsbottom)(Prohibition of Waiting) (Borough) Order 1979 and The Metropolitan Borough of Bury (Railway Street and Irwell Street, Ramsbottom)(Prohibition of Waiting) and (Restriction of Loading/Unloading) Order 2011 in their entirety
The Council has also revoked part of The Metropolitan Borough of Bury (Cross Street, Ramsbottom) (Prohibition of Waiting and Restriction of Loading or Unloading) Order 1990 as the new proposed order will include the restrictions from these Orders. A copy of the Order (including the exemptions contained in it) which comes into operation on 22/07/22 and a statement of the Council's reasons for making the Order may be inspected at 3 Knowsley Place, Duke St, Bury BL9 0EJ. If you wish to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may within 6 weeks of 22/07/22 apply to the High Court for that purpose. Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 14(1) The Metropolitan Borough Of Bury (Heaton Fold, Bury) Temporary Closure Order 2022 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury ave made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-Heaton Fold, Bury - Temp Rd Closure. The closure is in place to enable Gas works in the carriageway. Diversion route via Parkihills Rd, Brierley St, Gigg Lane and vice versa.
