London Borough Of Merton Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14(1)
(Tamworth Lane, Cr4) (Temporary Restriction Of Traffic) Order 2022

1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate the replacement of a decayed pole in Tamworth Lane, CR4, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in Tamworth Lane.

2. During the works no person will:-

(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in Tamworth Lane, from its junction with Cambridge Road south-eastward for a distance of 50 metres;

(b) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicles in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph (a) above.

3. Any designated parking place situated in the length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above will be suspended for the duration of the works.

4. The restrictions will apply only during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

5. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

6. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -

(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(b) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency; or

(d) so as to prevent access to premises in or adjacent to the lengths of roads specified in paragraph 2 above insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

7. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed via Manor Road, Commonside East and Cedars Avenue or vice-versa.

8. The Order will come into operation on Monday 1 August 2022 with the works anticipated to be completed the same day. However, the Order will remain in force for 3 months should further works be required.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14(1) (Hamilton Road, Sw19)
(Temporary Restriction Of Traffic) Order 2022

1. The London Borough of Merton Council hereby give notice that to facilitate duct laying and cable pull works to be undertaken in Hamilton Road, SW19, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. During the works, no person will cause or permit any vehicle to: -

(a) enter or proceed in Hamilton Road, between its junction with Merton High Street and its junction with Hamilton Road Mews; or

(b) wait, including for the purposes of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above.

3. Any designated parking place situated in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above will be suspended for the duration of the works.

4. The restrictions will apply only during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

5. Hamilton Road is a cul-de-sac and a diversion is not required.

6. Any vehicle that is in contravention of any waiting restrictions imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

7. Nothing in the Order will apply: -

(a) to any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.
8. The Order will come into operation on Monday 1st August 2022 with the works anticipated to be completed by Friday 9th September 2022. However, the Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 3 months and its provisions will be re-introduced during that period should further works be required.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14(1) (Rowan Road)
(Temporary Restriction Of Traffic) Order 2022

1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate hump replacement works in Rowan Road, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. For the duration of the works, no person would cause or permit any vehicle to:-

(a) enter or proceed in Rowan Road between its junction with Manor Road and its junction with Rosemead Avenue;

(b) wait, including for the purposes of loading or unloading any vehicle, in:-

(i) Rowan Road, between a point 25 metres north-west of its junction with Manor Road and the common boundary of Nos. 6 and 8 Rowan Road;

(ii) Rowan Road, between the common boundary of Nos. 18 and 20 Rowan Road and the common boundary of Nos. 28 and 30 Rowan Road;

(iii) Rowan Road, between the common boundary of Nos. 50 and 52 Rowan Road and the common boundary of Nos. 58 and 60 Rowan Road.

3. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. Vehicular traffic affected by the closures should proceed by way of one or more of the following roads:- Commonside East, Commonside West, Eastfields Road, Grove Road, Holborn Way, Kingsmead Avenue, Leonard Road, Lock's Lane, London Road, Manor Road, Meopham Road, Raleigh Gardens, Rosemead Avenue, Sunnymead Avenue, Tamworth Lane, and Upper Green East.

5. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions during any emergency; or

(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to or accessible from the prohibited road or length of road insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any waiting prohibition imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

7. The Order would come into operation on Tuesday 2nd August 2022 and it is anticipated that the works would be carried out each night from Tuesday 2nd August 2022, between the hours of 8pm and 3am the next day, until 3am on 5th August 2022. The road closure specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above would be in force during these times. The waiting restrictions specified in sub-paragraph 2(b) above would be in effect at all times from Tuesday 2nd August 2022 to Friday 5th August 2022 inclusive. The Order would remain in force for 3 months should further works be required.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14(1) (Lower Morden Lane, Sm4)
(Temporary Restriction Of Traffic) Order 2022

1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate sewer repair works in Lower Morden Lane, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. During the works no person would cause or permit any vehicle to:-

(a) enter or proceed in Lower Morden Lane, between the common boundary of Nos. 335 and 337 Lower Morden Lane and a point in line with the south-west flank wall of No. 329 Lower Morden Lane; or

(b) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph (a) above.

3. Any designated parking place situated in the road or length of road specified in paragraph 2 above would be suspended for the duration of the works in that length of road.

4. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

5. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform, a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions in any emergency; or

(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited road or length of road insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

6. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed via Tudor Drive and Stonecot Hill or vice-versa.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

8. The Order would come into force at Monday 8th August 2022 and it is expected that the works would be completed on Friday 19th August 2022. However, the Order would remain in force for a period of 3 months should further works be required.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14(1) (Milner Road, South Wimbledon)
(Temporary Restriction Of Traffic) Order 2022

1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate development works in Milner Road, South Wimbledon, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict pedestrian and vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. During the works no person will:-

(a) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, on the north side of Milner Road, from its junction with Morden Road to the common boundary of Nos. 2b and 2c Milner Road; or

(b) enter of proceed in the footway on the north side of the length of Milner Road specified in sub-paragraph (a) above.

3. Any designated parking place situated in the length of Milner Road specified in paragraph 2(a) above will be suspended for the duration of the works in that length of road.

4. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

5. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform, a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions in any emergency.

6. Pedestrians affected by the footway closure should proceed using the footway opposite.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

8. The Order will come into operation on Wednesday 10th August 2022 and will remain in force for 3 months. However, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 30 September 2022.
